Založba BMG bo financirala in objavila prvi biografski film o življenju in delu ikonskega vokalista Ronnieja Jamesa Dia (Ronald James Padavona). Režijo bosta prevzela Don Argott in Demian Fenton (Framing John DeLorean, Believer, Last Days Here). Produkcijo bodo v sodelovanju z vdovo Wendy Dio (Niji Productions) prevzele Argottin in Sheena Joyce za 9.14 Picture ter Kathy Rivkin Daum za BMG.
Film, čigar datum izida še ni znan, obljublja dokumentarec o Ronnieju, v film pa bodo vključeni do tega dne še nikoli objavljeni posnetki, družinski prijatelji ter fotografije iz Ronniejevih osebnih arhivov.
“Navdušena sem, da lahko pri dolgo pričakovanem filmskem dokumentarcu o Ronnieju sodelujem z založbo BMG ”, pravi Wendy in nadaljuje: “Ronnie je imel rad svoje oboževalce in upam, da bodo uživali na popotovanju skozi Ronniejevo življenje.” Wendy je bila tudi tiska ki je Dia po smrti , kot hologram, poslala na turnejo.
Prav tako bodo pri založbi BMG ponovno izdali zadnje (slabše) štiri albume zasedbe Dio, in sicer Angry Machines (1996), Magica (2000), Killing The Dragon(2002) ter Master Of The(2004).
Izid ponatisov je napovedan za 20.marca.
